Winter and Spring

After a lot of quarrel it was decided that Persephone had dot spend 4 months in the underworld together with Hades, while the rest of the year she could spend with her mother Demeter on the earth.
While the 4 months when Persephone stays in the Hades are marking winter,symbolizing her lonliness , the other 8 months of living on earth are symbolizing spring,the time of happiness.
